Talk of the Tavern: Beer

Beer has been around for more than 5400 years, (according to the Smithsonian, the first known beer was from Iran’s Zagros Mountains, dating to 3400 B.C. According to Wikipedia, it was 7000 years ago) and we have been enjoying it in good times (A TOAST!) and in bad times (avoid the filthy water, have a beer instead). It has become a point of national pride across countries around the world.

Join our regulars Gandersnitch the Goblin, Ed Summers AND the owner of Brass Cannon Brewing Company in Virginia, Phil Norfolk, as we discuss beer across history. And we may just partake a bit too.

On the Sounds of Steam Music Hour hear intoxicating drinking tunes by Axel the Sot, the Poxy Boggards, The Dubliners, Oakland Wine Drinkers Union, Bret Blackshear, Gray Rinehart, The Pyrates Royale, and Painless Parker!

Talk of the Tavern runs on both Radio Riel’s main stream and Radio Riel Steampunk.
