Town­ship jive, choral music, kwaito, Afrobeat, jazz — South African music has much to offer and is some of the most stir­ring music in the world.

Tune in on Main tonight between 6–8:30 PM SLT (US Pacif­ic Time) as we explore the Sounds of South Africa — from leg­ends like Miri­am Make­ba to Afropop pio­neers Julu­ka to mod­ern stars like Fresh­ly­ground and lots, lots more.  We might take an excur­sion or two to near­by Zim­bab­we and Mada­gas­car as well.
