You will hear Rag­time, Ear­ly Jazz and Pop­u­lar music from musi­cians such as Louis Arm­strong, Jel­ly Roll Mor­ton, Bix Bei­der­becke, Fan­ny Brice, Ruth Etting, Al Jol­son, Paul White­man and his Orches­tra and many, many more.

Today’s pro­gram on our main stream is com­prised of both pop­u­lar & clas­si­cal music from the 1920s. Not only does today’s pro­gram fea­ture The Charleston & oth­er usu­al sus­pects, but it includes the often over­looked clas­si­cal music of the 1920s. Com­posers such as Ralph Vaugh­an-Williams, Sergei Prokofiev, Eric Satie & Bela Bar­tok were all active­ly cre­at­ing music dur­ing this peri­od.
