Steampunk: The Radio Riel Players Present Tales from New Babbage, “The Phantom Coach”

Radio Riel invites the Riel Audiophiles who love audio drama to tune in this evening at 7:00pm North American Pacific Time to Radio Riel Steampunk for Tales from New Babbage.

The sultry Scotsman of New Babbage, Victor Mornington reads the ghostly tale of the northern moors, The Phantom Coach, by Amelia B. Edwards.

Miss Edwards was a journalist, novelist, egyptologist and suffragette. She traveled extensively with only a female companion in an era when male chaperones were considered socially and physically essential. She was also an early advocate for the preservation of archeological sites from the ravages of development and tourism.
