The Musical Magpie: Chinese Classical Music

The Musical MagpieOtenth Paderborn’s monthly program of world, folk, and roots music will explore Chinese classical music. Join Radio Riel listeners and our Europa Wulfenbach hosts Sunday, 11 November, 12:30–2:00 pm Pacific or Second Life time.

I will confess to ignorance about Chinese classical music, so I can only promise to make selections I believe are beautiful. But I’ve been inspired by the challenge implied in blogger Jon Silpayamanant’s assertion that all orchestras are ethnic orchestras. Listen on Radio Riel Main or Volksmusik, or join us in Second Life at the ruins in Europa Wulfenbach.

Tune in to Radio Riel monthly on the second Sunday of the month from 12:30–2:00 pm Pacific or Second Life time.
