Today in 1881 Sir Pel­ham Grenville Wode­house, bet­ter known to the world as P.G. Wode­house was born is Sur­rey.

With his most famous and arguably best loved cre­ation being the Jeeves and Woost­er sto­ries today’s From the Libray fea­tures an assort­ment of tunes from the 1920s and 30s.
