in Daily Programme

by Gabrielle Riel on Monday, 23 June, 2008

This week, Second Life celebrates its 5th Birthday. The Independent State of Caledon was one of many communities chosen to host an exhibit as a part of the anniversary celebration. Radio Riel is pleased to be able to provide the “soundtrack” for the exhibit all week, featuring “The Music of Caledon”.

In reality “The Music of Caledon” is a very broad spectrum of genres, but we hope to give our listeners a taste of what we at Radio Riel feel constitutes some of the soundtrack of The Independent State of Caledon.

This week’s program:

Monday — June 23 — “Classical Caledon”, Classical music of the late 19th Century, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Strauss etc. — program produced by Edwina Heron

Tuesday — June 24 — “Popular Late 19th Century Music” music of the late 19th Century, dance tunes, Dance Hall, Vaudeville etc. — program produced by Elrik Merlin
