The Countryside in Autumn

Today on Radio Riel, we present a programme of music evoking the countryside and rural life and especially at this time of year.

The programme features classical, light classical and light music, with a few additional genres — such as New Age and “smooth jazz” slipped in there for good measure, to provide a relaxing day’s listening. You’ll hear music like Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony and the beautiful but lesser known Symphony No 3 from Vaughan Williams. There’s The Lark Ascending and many other beautiful and relaxing classics.
