The Celtic Spirit

in Daily Programme

by Edward Pearse on Friday, 30 December, 2011

The bagpipes of Scotland, the Bodhrán of Ireland, harps, fiddles, violins, fiddles, whistles and drums are all part of Celtic music. Sometimes the music is traditional in its feel, sometimes it uses traditional instruments to bring out a more modern sound. Samba is not something normally associated with Celtic music, but you’ll hear it in amongst the tunes today.

Today’s programme is produced by Radio Riel in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the programme now in-world at, or click one of the buttons below. Today’s programme is presented by Edward Pearse.
