Strings to Pluck

Since the dawn of time, people have been stretching strings over some form of wooden frame, and then plucking the strings in order to create music.

Today’s program on Radio Riel’s Main stream consists of pieces performed by plucked string instruments, such as the guitar, lute, harp and mandolin.  Styles and eras included in today’s program include: Early Music, Baroque, Celtic, Folk, Jazz and New Age.

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at Today’s music originates from the music library of Gabrielle Riel.
