Strings on Sunday

Sundry Strings

Since the dawn of time, people have been stretching strings over some form of wooden frame, and then plucking the strings in order to create music.

Today’s program on Radio Riel’s Main stream consists of pieces performed by plucked string instruments, such as the guitar, lute, harp and mandolin. Styles and eras included in today’s program include: Early Music, Baroque, Classical, Celtic and New Age.

Today’s program is presented by Gabrielle Riel. To listen, click here to start your player . If you are in the United States, please use the following link: .
