If you are in Second Life, we are also celebrating the grand opening of The Clarendon in New Babbage, which was recently completed by Radio Riel Presenter Edward Pearse. Please join us in-world at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/New%20Babbage/202/53/103.

The Radio Riel 10th Anniversary poster is based on one produced by the Dutch company Philips to advertise a “Radio Salon” in the town of Scheveningen near Den Haag, in, we think, 1926. It was designed by M. Guthschmidt. In the background you can see the silhouette of the Kurhaus Hotel where the event was held.

The original poster is held in the Philips Company Archives, in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
