Rhythm & Jews — music of my people! 6–8:30PM SLT (PDT) on Main

in Daily Programme

Chag sameach, happy Passover folks! This week marks my favorite holiday of the Jewish calendar, and that means it’s time again for World Music at Madhu’s Café to draw on the music of my people. Tonight we’ll hear Jewish music of many stripes — traditional Jewish music and some modern takes on the liturgy; Klezmer and other sounds from Eastern Europe; Ladino music; secular pop music from Israel; and more.

Come shep naches with us and enjoy the musical nosh tonight from 6–8:30PM SLT. You can find us in Second Life at Madhu’s Café Indien, or listen in from wherever you are on Radio Riel’s Main Stream. Hope to see you there!

This evening’s program is presented by Carter Denja. To listen, click here to start your player . If you are in the United States, please use the following link: http://loudcity.com/stations/radio-riel/tune_in
