Radio Riel at SL LitFest 2008

Saturday 2 February 2008 sees the SL Literary Festival, held at Info Island and its sister regions. The entire Festival runs from 8am to 6pm SLT.

It’s an exciting all-day festival for librarians and the general public, with authors as speakers, and a real festival atmosphere, including fireworks, treasure hunts, a mystery theatre, and two DJ dance sessions.

At 12 noon SLT, Elrik Merlin, Radio Riel’s own “Laird of the Dance” will be presenting a 90-minute session of Celtic-inspired dance music and a chance for you all to let your hair down. It’ll be held in the open green area next to the fountains, SL Main Library and open-air auditorium — and this SLURL will drop you right there:

Nearby, you can pick up a Festival programme and see the wealth of activities going on throughout the day.

If you can’t join us in person, please tune in our secondary stream, http://music2.radioriel.org/ — but do try to get to the Festival: it’s going to be interesting, informative — and fun.
