Piano Jazz

Today we present a programme of jazz on the keys from a variety of periods. The emphasis is on piano, but you’ll also hear some great pieces performed on electronic keyboards.

In this programme we are featuring the brilliant jazz keyboard work of the late Andre Previn, specifically an excellent album of his early work from 1946–56, featuring jazz arrangements of tunes from My Fair Lady performed with Shelly Manne and friends, and other standards in solo, trio and quartet lineups. More album details.

Today’s programme is presented by Elrik Merlin. Please click here to start your player if your browser is set up to pass streams to an external player. You can also listen via TuneIn, either with their web site or via the TuneIn App.
