New Toulouse: Songs from the Nightingale — Latin Party

I cordially invite you to a soirée this evening, Saturday, May 5 at The Nightingale in New Toulouse Jardin for a musical Latin Party from 7:00pm — 9:00pm North American Pacific time. This live broadcast on Radio Riel New Toulouse is in honor of the Mexican American holiday Cinco de Mayo and I will be featuring a variety of Latin music to spice up your Saturday night.

Cinco de Mayo, or the Fifth of May, is a day of voluntary celebration for Americans of Mexican descent and for people living in the Mexican state of Puebla. This holiday is somewhat similar to Saint Patrick’s Day in that the day has gained great significance in the United States, yet it does not have the same focus and fervor back in the “homeland”.
