Midsummer’s Random Riel

in Daily Programme

Happy Midsummer Day to everyone! Today’s program is going to be wide and varied in musical style and genre. One of the reasons for this is that we are featuring three live events on our Main stream today:

  • 6:00am — 7:30am SLT — St. John’s Eve Dance in Congo Square — New Orleans and Voodoo Music
  • 1:00pm — 3:00pm SLT — Sceptered Haven Midsummer Ball — Light Music
  • 3:00pm — 4:30pm SLT — The Duchess’ Closet Dance and Gown Sale — A variety of Late 19th/Early 20th Century music

Before, after and in between these events, you will hear a variety of New Age, Classical…and whatever else strikes me (Gabrielle). Enjoy!

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at http://music.radioriel.org . Today’s music originates from the music library of Gabrielle Riel.

For more information on the Alexandrian Free Library, current exhibits and the work of Consortium members in general, please visit the Alexandrian Free Library website, or one of their branches in-world.
