Main: Happy Birthday Billy Connolly

OK I’m cheating a bit on this one. 🙂

This Saturday the 24th of November is Billy Connolly’s 7oth birthday. Yep the Big Yin has made it this far 🙂

While it’s still Friday in some parts of the world, in other parts it’s already Saturday that’s where the cheat is.

In honour of Mr. Connolly’s 70 years today’s programme will feature comedy and novelty music from the collection of Edward Pearse.

In addition to songs by Billy, today’s broadcast will include music by Ogden Edsl, Stan Freeburg, Julie Brown, Kip Adotta, The Firm, Allan Sherman, George Carlin, Eric Idle, Palast Orchester, Jonathan Coulton and the ever popular “And Many More”.

There is some strong language, but it’s good for you. Hold your nose and swallow.

Today’s programme is presented by Edward Pearse. You can listen to the programme in-world now at, or simply click here to start your player, if your browser is configured to do so. Listeners in the United States are encouraged to tune in using this link:
