La Belle Époque by Gabrielle Riel

Today on Radio Riel’s Main stream, our program features music from the “La Belle Époque”, which is the late 19th Century through the transition to the 20th Century until World War I. We have a tiny sprinkling of music that is from after the war, but the majority is music from the late Victorian and Edwardian eras.

You will hear waltzes by Strauss, early Opera recordings, Brass Bands, Popular Songs and Ballads, Romantic Classical pieces and much more! Do enjoy the music today as it takes you back in time 100 years to La Belle Époque!

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at Today’s music originates from the music library of Gabrielle Riel.
