(I’m Dreaming of a) Light Christmas

Today on Radio Riel we present a festival of light orchestral, light music, traditional jazz and big-band pieces and Christmas classics that stretch from Sir Arthur Sullivan to the late 20th Century.

The programme includes some wonderful original seasonal offerings from the likes of Philip Lane, Ron Goodwin, Alan Silvestri and Leroy Anderson as well as arrangements (sometimes quite extravagant) of well-known seasonal themes. There are some familiar full-on classical Christmas items too.

Today’s programme is presented by Elrik Merlin.  Click here to start your player if your browser is set up to pass streams to an external player or can play audio streams direct (many can).
