(I’m Dreaming of a) Light Christmas

Today on Radio Riel we present a festival of light orchestral, light music, traditional jazz and big-band pieces and Christmas classics that stretch from Sir Arthur Sullivan to the late 20th Century.

The programme includes some wonderful original seasonal offerings from the likes of Philip Lane, Ron Goodwin, Alan Silvestri and Leroy Anderson as well as arrangements (sometimes quite extravagant) of well-known seasonal themes. There are some familiar full-on classical Christmas items too.

Today’s programme is presented by Elrik Merlin. If you are in the United States or Canada, please click here to launch the Stream Licensing player. To listen from outside North America, click here to start your player if your browser is configured to do so.
