Hana Mi Matsuri 2012

It’s that time of year again for Radio Riel! Come enjoy our 5th annual Hana Mi under the sakura trees in Caledon Glengarry.

In Japan, this festival is always celebrated with friends, food, and a drink. Picnics aren’t far out of line! Every spring, for about 6 weeks as the sakura trees bloom. Always an occasion to be together and following the blooms across the small country. The US has its own equivalent we call Cherry Blossom Time and is quite often celebrated in tandem with Japan in modern times.

Caledon does it with music, dance and our own brand of humor. Japanese attire isn’t required but it is encouraged.
