From the silk road

Today’s “World Wednesday” broadcast of From the Library draws upon the mystique of the silk road, including music that comes from or is inspired by countries from Tibet to the Middle East. As one might expect, this encompasses a broad range–solo percussionists to full orchestrations, ancient liturgical chants from Tibet to modern interpretations of classical Indian ragas, short (under 2 minutes) to long (25 minutes). Enjoy!

From the Library is produced by Radio Riel in conjunction with the Caledon Library in Second Life. Today’s program was produced by Otenth Paderborn.
