July 7, 2010 was the 150th anniver­sary of the birth of the com­pos­er Gus­tav Mahler.  Mahler was one of many 18th and 19th Cen­tu­ry com­posers who were from, and pri­mar­i­ly based in, Vien­na, Aus­tria.

Today’s pro­gram on Radio Riel’s Main stream is a mix of music from Vien­na’s Clas­si­cal com­posers, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schu­bert, and its Roman­tic Com­posers, Brahms and Mahler.
