From the Library: Quartets

Quar­tet: Four per­form­ers who per­form togeth­er in a piece of four parts.

Today’s pro­gram on Radio Riel’s Main stream fea­tures Clas­si­cal, Roman­tic and Mod­ern Clas­si­cal quar­tets, with an empha­sis on String Quar­tets.  Some of our fea­tured com­posers in today’s pro­gram are: Joseph Haydn, W.A. Mozart, Lud­wig von Beethoven, Antonin Devo­rak, Claude Debussy, Igor Stravin­sky and Dmitri Shostakovitch.
