From the Library: New World Folk

Today’s pro­gramme fea­tures music from the New World, includ­ing some gen­res we don’t often play on Radio Riel, extend­ing as it does from the chants and drum­ming of the First Nations, through ear­ly North Amer­i­can folk music, to mod­ern folk artists, coun­try music and even some Brazil­ian pop­u­lar songs. The range of artists is far too broad to list here, so our rec­om­men­da­tion is sim­ply to tune in and enjoy!
