From the Library: Movie Magic — featuring the music of John Barry

Today on Radio Riel we present a pro­gramme of great themes from the movies and from tele­vi­sion, and in par­tic­u­lar fea­tur­ing the work of John Bar­ry, per­haps best-known for his James Bond music but also for Out of Africa, Danc­ing with Wolves, Some­where in Time and many more evoca­tive pieces — not only for film but also for British tele­vi­sion in days gone by.

Then at 11am and 7pm Pacif­ic (19:00 and 03:00 GMT) we’ll be start­ing two excit­ing new adven­ture seri­als in The ZBS Radio Hour: at the top of the hour, it’s anoth­er Jack Flan­ders adven­ture: Dreams of Rio; fol­lowed half an hour lat­er by Ruby 4 Part I: The Moons of Son­to Lore. Tune in!
