From the Library: Modern Classical Music

Today’s pro­gram on Radio Riel fea­tures Mod­ern Clas­si­cal Music, which is not exact­ly “mod­ern” in a lit­er­al sense.  The pieces you will hear today were com­posed 50–100 years ago by extra­or­di­nary and vision­ary com­posers who pushed the bound­aries into aton­al and dis­so­nant music.  Some of the com­posers on today’s pro­gram are as fol­lows:
