From the Library: Happy Birthday Leonard Bernstein!

Today on Radio Riel’s Main stream, we cel­e­brate the birth­day of Amer­i­can com­pos­er Leonard Bern­stein, who was born on August 25, 1918.  The pro­gram fea­tures his work as both a com­pos­er and a con­duc­tor of oth­er com­posers’ works.  It also includes music from oth­er promi­nent 20th Cen­tu­ry Amer­i­can com­posers such as Samuel Bar­ber, and Bern­stein’s men­tor and friend Aaron Cop­land.  Hap­py Birth­day Lenny!
