Today’s program on Radio Riel’s Main stream celebrates the birthday, and the work of the German composer, pianist and conductor, Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.  The man we know as Felix Mendelssohn was born on February 3, 1809. In honor of his 201st Birthday, we present a retrospective of his best known works, such as his Symphonies, Overtures, Concertos, and Gabrielle’s personal favorite, his musical rendering of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
