From the Library — Folk Across the Pond

An astonishingly varied programme today on Radio Riel as Elrik Merlin plays folk music ancient and modern from both sides of the Atlantic, focusing primarily on the British Isles and the USA, but with some songs from farther afield.

You’ll hear a diverse selection including such artists as Fairport Convention, Karine Polwart, Kate Rusby, Coope, Boyes & Simpson and Eddie Reader, alongside Hem, Gillian Welch, Alison Krauss and Jennifer Warnes – and of course, a great deal more.
