From the Library: Canadian Folk

I was surprised to realize that Radio Riel has not played a program of Canadian music in a full year! So, today’s program is as diverse as the people of Canada. You will hear folk music from Native Canadians, French Canadians, Irish Canadians and Scottish Canadians. And you will encounter styles of folk from traditional to contemporary.

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at http://music.radioriel.org . Today’s music originates from the music library of Gabrielle Riel.

For more information on the Alexandrian Free Library, current exhibits and the work of Consortium members in general, please visit the Alexandrian Free Library website, or one of their branches in-world.
