From the Library… Caledon Celtic Classics

To conclude this week of celebrations of Caledon’s Second Anniversary, today in our From the Library series we’re playing selections from one aspect of what we at Radio Riel term “Caledon-friendly” music, focusing on a variety of Celtic musical styles.

This week we have been experimenting with a new playout system for our daily programming, and we’ve been making adjustments to it in response to our own observations and comments from listeners. At one point yesterday the system was accidentally continually adding announcements to the playlist and as a result, as the day went by, they became more and more frequent! Our apologies to listeners for this problem and we hope it did not disturb your listening pleasure too much.

From the Library is produced by Radio Riel in conjunction with the Caledon Library in Second Life; today’s programme features music from the library of Elrik Merlin.

For more information on the Caledon Library, current exhibits and the work of Second Life reference libraries in general, please visit the Caledon Library Web site, or one of their locations in-world.
