From the Library – In A Celtic Style

Today’s programme features a wealth of Celtic music, a perennial favourite in our home region of Caledon, and a fitting lead up to next week’s celebration of the First Anniversary of Radio Riel.

Today we will be featuring an extensive collection of music from Europe and North America with Celtic origins and influences. There will be something for everyone who enjoys Celtic themes and musical traditions – from lavish orchestral arrangements to small ensembles; with instrumental and vocal settings of both modern and traditional lyrics and melody.

From the Library is produced by Radio Riel in conjunction with the Caledon Library in Second Life, to inform, educate and entertain. Today’s programme is presented by Elrik Merlin.

You can listen to the programme now at http://music.radioriel.org — the ideal URL to plug into your home parcel media address in-world — or simply visit any Caledon Library branch in-world and press Play on your embedded music player.
