Celebrate the Winter Solstice at Brideswell Manor

in Daily Programme

by Elrik Merlin on Thursday, 20 December, 2007

You are cordially invited to a Winter Solstice Party at Brideswell Manor, on Fri, 21 Dec, 2 — 5pm SLT/PST (22:00 — 01:00 GMT), at Brideswell Manor, 1–2 Wellsian SW, Caledon

Caledon residents and friends are invited to celebrate the Winter Solstice* with music and dance, in the company of Elrik Merlin, Laird Brideswell, on Friday December 21 from 2pm to 5pm PST / 22:00 to 01:00 GMT.

The event will be held at the Landing Stage adjacent to Brideswell Manor (next to the Radio Riel transmitting tower) in SW Wellsian.

Music of a suitably neo-Pagan and related bent will be provided by Lady Diamanda Gustafson of Radio Riel, and guests are welcome to attend attired in whatever they feel appropriate for such an event.

The Sacred Grove and Stone Circle adjacent to the Manor will be available for anyone wishing to enjoy a suitably mystical atmosphere and music. Ritual hints are available by clicking on the stones.

Laird Brideswell notes, “This is the first of what I hope will be many parties at the Manor and I do hope friends, Early Birds and Caledon residents in general will be able to attend.”

Even if you can’t be there, you can enjoy some fantastic music on, appropriately enough, The Brideswell Stream of Radio Riel at http://music2.radioriel.org.

• The Winter Solstice this year actually occurs at 06:08 GMT on December 22nd.

Laird Brideswell,

I sincerely regret not being able to attend due to scheduling difficulties, but I hope your celebration went smoothly.

Sire, you will be missed; however I do understand the pressing nature of diplomatic duties. I am sorry you cannot be with us tonight.

May I take opportunity to wish you the compliments of the season and a highly successful coming Year.

Yours etc,
