A Journey Through American Folk

Today on Radio Riel’s Main Stream, we celebrate the folk music in North America from the 19th Century to the 21st.

We’ll be covering both traditional and modern artists from the United States and Canada, including both modern and period recordings.

Listen out in particular for music by noted Nashville-based songwriter and performer Angela Kaset and the excellent first album by her daughter Jasmin, along with some very Southern songs from Kate Campbell — and much, much more.

Our humblest apologies. Due a technical problem the timer that triggers the programme at the appointed hour didn’t go off and the show was delayed for an hour and a half. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention and I’m glad you were able to catch the shows at the later time.
