Riel Theatre: I, Claudius (part 1 of 6)

Adapted from Robert Graves’ novel, Riel Radio Theatre presents I, Claudius. Adapted by Robin Brooks.

Claudius appears to be a stammering, drooling weakling, whose reputation as an idiot keeps him safe from office and assassination. Privately he’s as sharp as a tack, and keeps a secret history of the goings on of Rome. This all comes to a screaming halt as eventually he is the last member of his family still alive, and is proclaimed Emperor against his will.

Starring Tom Goodman Hill as Claudius, Derek Jacobi as Augustus, Tim McInnerny as Tiberius and Harriet Walter as Livia

Join us at the Clarendon Conservatory from 7:00pm pacific time, or tune in via Radio Riel’s Main Stream.
