Songs from the Nightingale: Hurricanes and Lovecraft and Pirates Oh My!

in Monthly Programme, Radio Riel Main, Radio Riel Reverie

by Gabrielle Riel on Sunday, 7 September, 2014

It’s the first Sunday of the month, and that means that Gabrielle Riel plays “Songs from the Nightingale” today from 12:30pm — 2:00pm North American Pacific time on both Radio Riel’s Main stream and Radio Riel Reverie.

It has been a very strange and busy month in my (Gabrielle’s) world. A few weeks ago we had our virtual hurricane in St John. August 20 was 124th anniversary of the birth of H.P. Lovecraft. And there have been the most incorrect and illogical rumors about pirates in Winterfell.

Today’s show reflects these events in a program I am calling “Songs from The Nightingale: Hurricanes and Lovecraft and Pirates Oh My!” It’s a truly bizarre mix that is hopefully worthy of the master of weird, H.P. Lovecraft.

If you happen to be a resident of Second Life, we invite you to join us at the Winterfell Stone Circle in the Winterfell sim (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Winterfell/204/27/23) .

Today’s program is presented by Gabrielle Riel. If you are in the United States, please click here to launch the Stream Licensing player. To listen from outside of the United States, click here to start your player .
