Today’s programme is all Gaelic Scots music, from the tradition piping of The Royal Scots Dragoon and the magnificent fiddle of Aly Bain.. to the new album from The Poozies and a wonderful new to me artist Christopher Dean.
Listen for the haunting and rhythmic acapella sounds of Mary Jane Lamond and the traditional waulking of the wool songs.
And swoon to the original material of Dougie MadLean composer of Caledonia and the haunting melody of The Gael.

Scotland is more than Pipes and Shortbread.. listen and find out!!

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at http://music.radioriel.org . Today’s music originates from the music library of Soliel Snook.
