The Beatles

On February 9, 1964, The Beatles stepped on to the stage at The Ed Sullivan show and 73 million people, roughly one third of the entire population of the United States of America, watched the event that would change music forever.

We rarely feature music from after 1950 on Radio Riel, however in honor of that major milestone, today’s program on Radio Riel’s Main stream is a tribute to The Beatles and the many other bands and musicians that made up The British Invasion of the mid-1960s. The program also features some of the non-British Invasion bands that were on the charts during that era.

Today’s program is presented by Gabrielle Riel. To listen, click here to start your player . If you are in the United States, please use the following link: http://loudcity.com/stations/radio-riel/tune_in .
