Solar-Powered Saturday

Something a little different today as we celebrate solar power — with a truly eclectic collection of songs and music about the Sun, in both the literal and the metaphorical sense. Today you’ll hear music that ranges from the 19th Century and before to the present day.

The content comes from my entire library (writes Elrik Merlin) and as a result you’ll hear a very wide range of genres and styles today, from blues to electronica, folk to classical, heavy rock to New Age and jazz, house to ballads. There will be some curious juxtapositions today, but if you have a broad musical taste as I do, I hope you’ll enjoy it.

The ZBS Radio Hour

Then tune in at 11am or 7pm Pacific time to enjoy the latest installments in our continuing classic award-winning radio serials, Jack Flanders in Dreams of Rio and Ruby 3 — The Invisible World.
