Spanning Asia from China to the Mediterranean, the “Silk Road” has linked cultures for millennia. Today’s “From the Library” celebrates this ancient cosmopolitan influence with music from the land routes of the Silk Road, with a particular focus on Persian and Arabic music.

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at http://music.radioriel.org. Today’s music originates from the music library of Otenth Paderborn.
