Away with these self-loving lads, Whom Cupid’s arrow never glads. Away poor souls, that sigh and weep, In love of them that lie and sleep. For Cupid is a meadow God, And forceth none to kiss the rod. John Dowland

Away with these self-loving lads,
Whom Cupid’s arrow never glads.
Away poor souls, that sigh and weep,
In love of them that lie and sleep.
For Cupid is a meadow God,
And forceth none to kiss the rod.
John Dowland (1563 – 1626)

I invite you to join my (Gabrielle’s) Revelry, today, Saturday, October 15, from 11am – 12:30pm North American Pacific Time.

Today’s program features the music of English Renaissance composer John Dowland and, as the Moon seems to have been in the Sign of Drama recently, an even more eclectic mix than usual!

For those of you that are in Second Life, you can join us, in Avatar form, at the Rosehaven Community Center in Winterfell Anodyne. (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Winterfell%20Anodyne/133/21/22).  Recommended attire is Medieval and Fantasy.

If you are not in Second Life, or if you are unable to join us, you can tune in by opening a media player, such as iTunes, Windows Media Player or WinAmp. Find its “Open Stream” or “Open URL” command and enter: http://reverie.radioriel.org .
