Today, Radio Riel celebrates the birth, 110 years ago, on September 26, 1898, of one of the most famous and prolific American composers of all time, George Gershwin. Gershwin composed hundreds of songs, ranging from popular tunes to songs for Broadway and movies.

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Caledon Library in Second Life. Today’s music originates from the music library of Gabrielle Riel.
