It’s a holiday weekend in the United States, so in honor of American Independence day on July 4, Radio Riel features American Classical music from the 20th Century. You’ll hear the old standbys of Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Samuel Barber, as well as some lesser known composers of Modern American Classical music.

Radio Riel produces this program in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at http://music.radioriel.org . Today’s music originates from the music library of Gabrielle Riel.

For more information on the Alexandrian Free Library, current exhibits and the work of Consortium members in general, please visit the Alexandrian Free Library website, or one of their branches in-world.
