Today’s broadcast in the series From the Library… continues yesterday’s theme with a further anthology of British folk music.

In addition to popular artists of the 1970s such as Sandy Denny and Fairport Convention, we also present contemporary works by artists as diverse as Kate Rusby, Karine Polwart and Caroline Lavelle.

Today’s programme will run during the day but will come to an end prior to the beginning of tonight’s Alice broadcast at 6pm SLT / 03:00 GMT.
